Preparing Students for 21st Century Careers

Blessed Sacrament is far ahead of the national curve when it comes to preparing students for 21st century jobs. All second through eighth graders are taught computer science and coding as part of our core curriculum.Computer science and coding are among the worlds’ fast growing industries, yet only one in ten schools currently offer it as part of their curriculum.
Expanding Opportunities through STEM
Through our STEM program, students are able to not only increase their knowledge of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, but also expand their future opportunities within the fastest-growing job markets. Through unique and interesting hands-on projects, students are gaining exposure to the latest emerging technologies such as 3D printing, nanotechnology and drones. STEM is taught to all grade levels.
Each year students in grades five through eight get to participate in the school’s Science Olympiad, a full day of fun and challenging activities that put students’ science, math, technology and engineering abilities to the test
