Academics
Our curriculum challenges students, faculty, and administration to exceed beyond the standard state-mandated academic requirements in Illinois and to expect more when it comes to learning and academic achievements. The curriculum design is intentionally challenging and created with a focus on teaching children how to think and problem solve for themselves, so they are better prepared for high school and a more challenging curriculum.
Blessed Sacrament’s curriculum for students in primary grades includes instruction in science, math, reading, religion, english, spelling, computer science and coding, social studies and Spanish.
Eighth grade students at Blessed Sacrament may qualify to enroll in Honors Algebra I through Althoff High School, which gives them the opportunity to become familiar with advanced math principles before entering high school.
